FAQ

Do you develop film ?

Yes.

All still film except Kodachrome .

We hand develop to get you quick results & can fine-tune to your taste. Insomuch, regardless of process, the price is the same.

Will I be charged for a blank roll ?

Yes.

A roll that comes out blank was nonetheless developed so we charge for our time & chemistry. However, if the film is blank due to some fault of the lab, you will be reimbursed & receive replacement film. We understand images cannot be replaced.

You may request a snip test rather than develop a whole roll if concerned about it being blank.

How long will you keep my film & scans ?

1 month scans; 3 months film.

As a lab, we are not in the business of storage. We want you to get your files so we hold onto your scans for a month from our first transfer to you unless other arrangements have been made.

Film developed at Light Rider Studios becomes the property of The Studios if not collected within 3 months after letting you know your order is ready for pick-up unless other arrangements are made. Film, photos & other materials left here for scanning, restoration & documentation will be retained for 1 year after your order has been completed. Uncollected art, film & photos will be considered abandoned after 1 year.
